STM receives its support through the following means: - Promotion via STM Sundays
- Endowment Fund and Faculty Development Fund
- Friends of STM
- Partners of STM
STM SUNDAYS STM Sundays are promoted throughout the year, instead of just on the month of July. On STM Sunday, we hope the following could be achieved: - Church members are made aware of the vision and ministry of STM. The vision of STM is “To equip God’s people for ministry and mission”. Our aim is to train pastors and Christian workers in a wholistic manner so to meet the increasing needs of the Church.
- Suitable candidates are challenged to pursue theological and ministerial training. STM as a union college of four main denominations is committed to train pastors for Malaysia and Asian region. We are also committed to quality education.
- An amount would be collected for STM for theological training is costly.
Our faculty members are available to share the vision of STM with your church. To set a date for STM Sunday, please contact the Principal's Secretary. We hope for your continual support.
ENDOWMENT FUND AND FACULTY DEVELOPMENT FUND Donations are set aside at the request of donors as endowment to generate income for long term plans as well as for faculty academic and professional development. These funds are utilised for research and publication purposes and also for participation in international academic conferences. The faculty will then be able to provide quality education and wholistic training to the future generation of church leaders, for STM strives to be a better theological institution of higher learning.
FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF STM
| - Friends of STM : While we have about 299 donors signed up as “Friends” to donate RM300 per year, we would like to recruit more to pray and to support the ministry of STM. If we have 1000 “Friends”, we will be blessed with RM300,000 for the smooth running of the training ministry.
- Partners of STM : To date, we have approximately 137 local churches as “Partners” which donate annually to our ministry. This is very encouraging. If we have an addition of 50 churches to donate RM1,000 each; 10 churches for RM5,000, and another 10 churches for RM10,000, then STM will be blessed with an annual donation of RM200,000. Pray that God will grant out desire.
