Edinburgh 2010 is an inter-denominational study project set up to commemorate the centenary of the 1910 World Missionary Conference; to provide new perspectives on Christian mission today; and to inspire mission for the 21st century. The Edinburgh 2010 conference gathers with the theme "Witnessing to Christ today" and is hosted by the School of Divinity at the University of Edinburgh. From 2 - 6 June 2010, the study project peaks in an international conference and celebration. Reflecting the realities of global Christianity, 300 delegates from over 60 countries and over 50 denominations including significant numbers of evangelical and Pentecostal leaders, actively participated in the event. STM currently owns two old vans which are used for student transportation, picking up passengers and transportation of goods. They were donated by our kind donors. Their years of manufacture are 1987 and 1991 respectively. Since they have been in service for more than 20 years, it is not surprising that they are now in a very sad state and require high maintenance. In view of this, STM is appealing for donations to purchase a new van to replace these two aging vans. If you wish to donate towards this cause, you can issue a cheque. Cheques should be made payable to: "SEMINARI THEOLOJI MALAYSIA". Please write "STM Van purchase" at the back of the cheque. Alternatively, you can also bank into our Public Bank account 3064759900, and send or fax us the bank-in slip.

New Certificate in Christian Ministry (Social Ministry) Program
We are pleased to announce the commencement of a new Certificate in Christian Ministry (Social Ministry) program. This part-time study program under our theological education by extension department is a collaboration by Seminari Theoloji Malaysia with Malaysian Care and Bible College of Malaysia. Courses starts in mid May 2010.
To meet growing challenges of the 21st century and the need to be relevant to church and society, Seminari Theoloji Malaysia is offering the Bachelor of Theology program in Tamil. The above Bachelor program will use a multi study format like class modules, tutorials, class projects and practical work. With the aid of TAFTEE and lecturers from India this program is contemporary and will endeavour to raise the level of Tamil Biblical scholarship in this nation.
