FEES

Financial Information and Student Fees

As STM is the official training college of the Anglican, Evangelical Lutheran and Methodist churches. Denominationally approved or recommended students are normally given financial support by their own diocese or conference upon acceptance by the seminary. Usually the scholarships granted by the churches are sufficient to cover the studentâ€™s tuition, room and board, basic text books and personal expenditure. These scholarships are administered by the respective churches, and applicants should apply to their respective denominations. Private or self-supporting students are also encouraged to seek sponsorship from their local churches and friends.

At the moment students at STM are charged less than 50% of the actual cost of their training. The balance of the expenses for training comes from donations by supporting churches and friends. STM offers limited financial aid. Applicants with genuine financial need may write to the Registrar or Academic Dean for further information.

Below is the approximate expenditure for an academic year.

1. Full Time Student

Application Fee (non-church sponsored) :	RM20.00

Continuation Fee (incomplete degree) :	10% of annual tuition fee

Extra Fees for International Students :

If you are a international student coming to STM to pursue your theological education, please note that you will need to apply for a student's visa before leaving your country. The total cost of getting a student's visa varies according to your country you come from. You will need to pay between RM 125.00 to RM 300.00 for a student's visa. Please note that you must obtain the student's visa through us before coming to STM, otherwise a levy of RM 500.00 will be imposed by the Department of Immigration of Malaysia.

2. Part Time & Evening Classes (On Campus)

5. Master of Theology (SEAGST / STM Program) : Tuition Fees

Continuation Fee for fulltime students: 10% of annual tuition fee.
Application Fee :	RM 100.00 / US $27.00
Course Fee (RM 1250 X 4 modules):	RM 5000.00
Thesis supervision :	RM 2500.00
